ITINERARY

Day 1

Our driver will meet you early morning at your Athens accommodation and head out of the city towards Arkadia, in the heart of Peloponesse. Located between the mountain villages of Dimitsana and Stemnitsa, lies Lousios river. Depending on your walking abilities and experience, there are several hiking options through the stunning gorge and beautiful monasteries like Prodromou. If you do not like hiking, the driver will take you to the closed point so you can visit Prodroumou (closed between 1-5pm). After you are done with your hiking, the driver will meet you at the designated meeting point to take you to Dimitsana for lunch stop before visiting the local Water Power Museum. Overnight there or at the nearby village of Stemnitsa.

Day 2

After breakfast, we make our way towards Mystras where you will then spend about 3 hours to visit the castle. Lunch stop before paying tribute to the monument of Leonidas in the land of the mighty warriors, Sparta. Finally, you will visit the unique Museum of the olive and Greek olive oil before we drive towards the bottom of Peloponesse and the “Gibraltar” of Greece, Monemvasia. Free time to walk around for photos and dinner during sunset. Overnight inside the castle town.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will have some extra free time to explore this unique town OR visit the Cave of Diros before we depart for Ancient Messene, a spectacular and somehow underrated archeological site. Lunch stop before we make our way to Olympia, to rest and overnight.

Day 4

In the morning before the big crowds you will visit the sacred place that hosted the original Ancient Olympic Games. You will visit the archeological site and museum (about 2.5 hours in total) before we make our way back to Athens. We always try to avoid touristy places for food so our lunch stop will either be at Lagkadia or Vitina villages. Arrival in Athens by early evening.

Thousands of Happy Customers

Vicki Masters, Australia

We all very much enjoyed our tour around Athens. Our tour guide was well spoken, pleasant & gave us quite a bit of knowledge about Athens. We highly recommend your company.

Annette & Howard Cooper

My husband Howard and I would like to thank you very much for arranging our tour of Athens last week. We felt that we saw more of Athens in one day than many people are able to see on their own in a week.

Barry Strauss, USA

We just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our trip with you last week. You helped to make our 25th anniversary trip to Greece something that we will never forget. Thanks so much for the pastries and peaches you gave us.

Υour service was just what we needed. We were all jet lagged and couldn’t think, so George did our thinking for us. Lots of good stories and Cape Sounion was beautiful.

Deborah Bennett, USA

George, Just wanted to let you know what a GREAT time we had with your son Dennis when we were in Athens 2 weeks ago from our NCL Jade cruise…he was polite, informative, gracious, attentive. We certainly enjoyed our all too brief visit, thanks to his help!

Makis kept the trip enjoyable and was a pleasure to have as our guide. The 4 days we spent with in the Greek countryside were an excellent time in many aspects and will live as a fond memories for us.
