ITINERARY

  • After meeting with our driver, begin your journey to Cape Sounio with a leisurely drive down the stunning coastal route, the Saronic golf and the Athens Riviera, passing by the south suburbs of Glyfada, Vouliagmeni and Varkiza and enjoy a short photo stop at Lake Vouliagmeni from above (about 10 minute stop). Along the way the driver will also make a couple of short stops for photos. The trip takes about 75 minutes.
  • Now we have reached the Temple of Poseidon with its stunning views, especially during sunset which we highly recommend to be the time of the day you choose for this trip. The visit at the Temple takes about 45 minutes.
  • During this trip you will make a stop for lunch or dinner (around 75 minutes) either before or right after the visit to the sight.
  • Trip ends with a return back to your Athens accommodation by the same coastal road or highway (depending on traffic).

     NOTES :

  1. We can also do a morning trip (earliest pick up 10:30) if you are not able to do this trip during sunset.
  2. This trip is highly recommended to be combined with your arrival or departing transfer to the airport (depending on your arrival/departure time). We can pick you up straight from the airport, drive to the Temple of Poseidon, visit the sight, have lunch by/near the sea and then proceed to your hotel/accommodation in Athens City Centre through the stunning coastal route or vice versa).

For your safety inside the vehicle, drivers provide commentary only when it is deemed safe to do so while driving. When your driver must concentrate during difficult driving conditions, please refrain from any distracting behaviour as your safety during the tour is our top priority. Your Driver will drop you off as close to the sites as legally possible and in accordance to the Municipality and Traffic laws of Athens. Our service is solely confirmed when the potential customer has received and email confirming services along with the details of the tour. If the confirmation email is not received than please conclude that the service has not been confirmed. We suggest you contact us immediately for further clarification.
